I grew up in Oklahoma moving to Virginia Beach with my husband in 2016. I went to Oklahoma State for my undergrad majoring in secondary education. After 12 years of teaching and raising a family of three children, I decided to go back to school. My youngest and I had our first day of college together which included a picture with our backpacks! After moving to Virginia, I graduated from Regent University with my masters degree.

I enjoy photography, theater, and playing with my grandson. I have lots of pictures of him that I’m always willing to share!

I work with children, adolescents, and their families using play therapy interventions to improve family connections and reduce behavioral challenges. It is a deep joy to help children and teens discover their strengths and listen to their inner wisdom.
