I grew up in the panhandle of Florida in an Air Force family, spending summers sailing, snorkeling, and soaking up sun. I attended the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut and served 20-years on active duty, spending most of that time as an MH-60J/T helicopter pilot. Upon retirement from the Coast Guard, I pursued a career as a Clinical Psychologist.

I have been married to my best friend since 2003 and we are blessed with four amazing humans.

My hobbies include reading, studying history, sports, and spending time with friends and family.
